It must not be used as the sole basis for any individual clinical decision. Where a calculation is incorporated into a clinical pathway by an organisation, that organisation is responsible for local validation, governance, and any required regulatory steps.

HaemCalc must not be used to enter, store, or transmit patient-identifiable data. Users must use anonymised or test data only. The Owner accepts no responsibility for any breach of confidentiality arising from the entry of patient-identifiable data into the tool.
